Six followers for Jim's short ride to a new stop in Chertsey - The Kingfisher. Glorious weather saw us heading off to Stanwell Moor for morning tea. Sadly Jim had not checked the route the previous day, so that when we got onto the cycle track on the A3044 the overgrown bramble by the side, slashed and grazed many of his followers - expect a call from the National Accident Helpline lawyers Jim. From there we cycled on via Ashford and Laleham to Chertsey. Following lunch, and still bleeding profusely, we came back via the Thames to Staines, then followed the cycle track by the side of the M25 (more slashing and grazing) to Poyle, then on via Colnbrook and Richings Park to Iver for a swift half in the Swan before dispersing to Uxbridge.
A great day out with Jim even if the short ride turned out to be a medium ride.
