This is one of the ancient routes connecting coastal region of konkan to Deccan plateau. The trail is still in use by the villagers. Base village is Khopivali. It took under 3 hours to climb up and little less to descend. The trail is in shadow region during first half of the day and is fully in forest cover. It is easy to navigate. There is one water cistern midway with cold potable water. This region is supposed to be very pretty in monsoons.
