After Roughlock Falls we traversed up to Cement Ridge. The fall colors are gorgeous, but slightly past peak at higher elevation. My maps tried taking us on an off road trail so we abandoned that route for the less rugged, but still rugged in a few spots, dirt road. The turn around afforded us the opportunity for my guest to watch a cattle drive right in front of us. Cowboys were gathering cows off the open range before the weather turns to snow! Always a fun thing to do but not something my east coast friend gets to see.
