Weiße Spitze 2963 m 9719 ft.

From the Car Parking Lot just below Oberstalleralm 1883 m 6176 ft. I made my way up the Road past the Chalet Village and on a level Road for about half a mile or so before turning left on the Signed Trail and crossing upwards the Meadow to get on a steep Trail, The Grass is high and doesn’t look well traveled, it just goes up and up in a switchback manner reaching Schutzengelkapelle (Guardian Angel Shrine) where the Trail is very wet, past this boggy Section the Trail levels out a bit and crossing the High Sheep Alp towards Schlötterlenke 2705 m 8872 ft. Which is the Saddle between Rote and Weiße Spitze, Turned right here and in Scrambling Mode up to the Summit. The Weather was about to change, drizzling Rain and Thunder could be heard in the distance made me hurry down and not even think about hiking Rote Spitze on the opposite Side which would make a Great Loop-hike. In no time I was down on the Road walking back to the Parking Lot. The Rain never came. A short but very rewarding Hike in a Beautiful Valley of Osttirol.
