Glad I did Triglav yesterday and not today as the Parking Lot was already busy early in the Morning despite all Huts are closed for the Season already. This Hike is also a Longer one but much more enjoyable with a Peace of Mind. From the Parking Lot I followed the well signed Trail up and past the Biwak IV 1980 m 6494 ft. From there the Trail change to Scree Path but not bad at all, it just goes up till Standing below the Huge South-wall with several Rock Climbing Routes. The entry to the Via Ferrata Route is clearly visible and easy to follow, It is Cable Protected and with Pegs and Steps where needed but not overdone and just a joy. It goes up and around, always Paint-marked towards the Summit Ridge, One more Last Cable and then it’s on to the Summit with a Cross and Register. Fantastic Views in all Directions in Perfect Weather. Returned back down the same way through the Wall and down the first Scree Slope before veering off to the right on an marked Trail towards Dolkova špica 2591. The first part is good but they closer it got towards the Col the Trail becomes just a big Scree and Boulderfield. Must have been a recent Rockfall as well. Hard to catch any good Footing at all. Eventually I made it up there and the Path forward was very much the same nuisance although Paintmarked and at one Part Cable Protected but Rockfall took out the Trail. Luckily it is only a Short Section and the remaining way to the Summit of Dolkova špica 2591 is just Joy Scrambling. Was surprised to find a Proper Register and according to the Register the Peak gets quiet a few Visitors. A went back the Scrambling Path and turned left and Scree Glissading down the clearly visible Trail below, First still Paint-marked but it faded away or I missed Something. A faint Trail is always visible and toward the Biwak Hut I Just went straight towards it, Maybe not the best choice but I got tired looking constantly for a Trail when the Hut is visible already. After a quick Break and checking out the inside of the Hut I went down and rejoining my Morning Ascent Route. To sum it up, It was a Long but very rewarding Day in Serenity away from the Crowds.
