Despite steep sides, elevation and limestone character, the ridge of Bjelolasica is neither sharp nor rocky. On the contrary, it is covered in grass and rich in diverse mountain plants, and mountain slopes are covered in forest. The highest peak is the northernmost grassland peak in a series of such peaks on the ridge of Bjelolasica. The peak point is marked with a geodetic pillar in very poor condition
