This trail will take you from Elsmere Park in New Hall to camp 9, a 15 mile in and out, you also have the option to make it as long as you want by continuing past camp 9 down to sand canyon road, to Placerita canyon road and back to the park. This is about 23 miles. You can also hike to the Veteran park in Sylmar or hike to the Olive hospital.
