This is the first and easier third of the SRT trek. It is a ridge trail. But we underestimated the difficulty. We would have gone to Rajgad, had we reached Vinzar couple of hours sooner. Nice workout nonetheless. Early morning was nice. But later became very hot under “january” Sun. At the top section, there is a tricky sideways. Scree, loose soil, exposed. No water sources around once you leave Sinhagad. Needed 3 litres.
