Only had time for a short hike so I took Cairns Trail which was 1/3 mile and the sign said it takes about an hour. ot sure how that short of a trail would take an hour. It didn't. However, I extended the trail at the top. There was a nice trail leading g off of it and than that trail turned into nothing but steep wilderness. I bushwhacked for a while and then resorted to my Ramblr track to find my way back. Pretty views nonetheless. The actual trail ended at an interpretative area with an old mine shaft from the gold rush days.
