Today was back in the low 20s with no wind so once home from church i tacked upto ride. Literally as I swung my leg over my horse, I could here the winds coming. So, I altered my route and stayed mostly in the woods. At least I got out to ride. Next 3 days will be too cold. As it was my feet froze. We also ran into a large Coyote who was stalking my dog. Thankfully Ike is obedient and didn't give chase. I didn't want to shoot from my horse and it was too cold to dismount to take a shot but these coyotes are getting much too plentiful and too brazen so I'm going to have to take a few out!
