Thrilling climb yet very safe location. You can drive right up to the very starting point during wet. The route is well trodden so less chance of losing way. We started the base at 12:30pm in afternoon. The climb is from the north east side so we were in shade most of the time.
Hiking/Backpacking
Vehicle with good ground clearance can drive all the way to top. The road is kuccha surface for last 7kms. Last couple of kms are up hill climb but nothing that an suv cannot manage.
There is enough room to park and take a U turn. Even though we started the trek late, the climbing side was in shade. Winter months are best time.
