Plenty of free parking. The old railway line is flat but, unfortunately, the tarred path is shared with cyclists. Couple of stiff climbs

A wooded walk following the Bickleigh Vale upstream along the banks of the River Plym to Shaugh Prior and returning along the old South Devon and Tavistock Railway high above the valley. Initially flat along the towpath of an old canal into the Plym Valley, then via the Cann Viaduct to join the river to Shaugh Bridge, crossing the River Meavy back to the railway. Lost of interesting industrial archaeological features, notably viaducts and bridges.
